DR. BANJOKO ADEMOLA, (B.Sc., MBA, M.Sc, Ph.D, FEPIN,)
Director, Professional Standards & Certification

Dr. Ademola Banjoko brings to EPIN's Management Board an exceptional depth of technical expertise in water resources management, environmental engineering, and infrastructure development — qualifications that make him ideally suited to lead the Institute's Professional Standards and Certification function. His mandate is to ensure that EPIN's credentialing framework reflects the highest professional standards and remains aligned with global best practice in environmental management.

His academic portfolio — spanning a B.Sc. in Geography and Planning (University of Lagos, 1990), an MBA in Finance (Kensington University, USA, 1995), an Advanced Certificate in Water Resources Planning and Management (Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft, Germany, 1999), an M.Sc. in Hydrology and Remote Sensing (University of Lagos, 2001), and a Ph.D. in Water Resources Management (Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, 2024) — reflects a career-long commitment to advancing knowledge in the environmental and water resources sciences.

Dr. Banjoko's professional project portfolio includes some of Nigeria's most technically demanding infrastructure assignments: the design, construction, and installation of water treatment plants for the CBN, hydrological investigations for the World Bank-assisted Ikorodu Town water supply project, and raw water quality monitoring across multiple sites in Lagos State. This hands-on project experience gives him the practical credibility to set and enforce professional standards that are both rigorous and grounded in real-world practice.

As Director of Professional Standards and Certification, Dr. Banjoko oversees the development and maintenance of EPIN's competence frameworks, professional examination systems, accreditation programmes, and the ongoing review of certification criteria — ensuring that every EPIN-credentialed practitioner represents a benchmark of excellence in the field.
